Past and present has exemplified you enough for the ever lasting personal brands that has been created or they had create themself as one like from Hitler, Mahatma Gandhi to Jack Welch, Bill Gates, Maria Jones to brand Tendulkar and the list can goes on, each making himself distinct, and proving their Unique selling proposition.

If products like Coco-cola, Pepsi, Surf, Lux, and Harley Davidson can turn out be unforgettable and strong brands, why can’t we, who have created them. We are no different from "Products" in a sense. We too sell, persuade, pitch and we advocate for stuff that is a part of selling and creating a life time relationship, which will, we hope, fulfill our dream or take us to a pinnacle in life.

When we look yourself among our friends, colleagues, competitors and family each one is remembered as a distinct personality for example the most talkative, brave, intelligent, Kind person i.e. all are branded. We know who they were and exactly what they were about. Personal Brand is a mark that that symbolizes who you are and what you stand for, and defines your contribution to the world. And your contribution is independent of your age, gender and your profession.

Why to be branded?

Creating yourself as a brand makes one special, memorable, desirable, and an invaluable asset. The power of branding creates a perception of leadership and competency. Personal brands start with the core of one existence and that is spread and distributed throughout every point, and who so ever comes in contact with you. It is a smart, powerful tool. It is being more of who you really are. It’s defining and communicating your purpose, personality, and passions.

People, just like commercial products, have a natural brand - the one which we are born with, and the other we acquire over time and experience. It’s the sum of all the factors like how the market or others perceive us, our actions, our behavior and our level of integrity. Creating yourself as a brand requires energy, resources, commitment and effort to sustain in this highly competitive world. Making your choice to work and live your brand will open doors to more opportunities, freedom, and accomplishment.
In addition, branded people tend to receive stronger support from peers, business associates, competitors, which allows them to accomplish more things, conjure more authority, and increase credence for their decision so they enjoy "TOP MIND" visibility and status. It’s all about either going with the flow or creating your self, identical, personal brand.
